Analytics
This landing page uses Umami, a web analytics tool
self-hosted on our own server. In its default configuration (the one we
use), Umami does not set any cookie or other identifier in the
browser: it counts visits and page views anonymously and in aggregate,
without individually tracking the user across visits or across websites.
Because there are no cookies or persistent identifiers, this tool does not
require a cookie consent banner under current regulations — if that ever
changed (for example, if some tracking mode with an identifier were
enabled in the future), this page and the corresponding banner would be
updated before that happens, not after (see TODO.md).
Note: this assessment is based on how Umami behaves by default and is not legal advice; the data controller should confirm it with their own advisor if they consider it necessary.
